Hi Friends! My name is Danny Scott; I am the co-owner of Charlie & Crew. I am the father to two kiddos, Charlie and Meredith, husband to my best Friend Samantha, and a woodworker. My wife started Charlie & Crew the same year my son Charlie was born, she had a pull to be able to be with him full time and with that, our business was born. We have grown over the years offering different items to fit a ton of needs. After we had Meredith I had an extreme pull to get myself in the position to be home full time. I just knew the normal 40 hour a week job I have being a Plant Manager over a steel fabrication company just wasn’t my long term dream. I want to be able to be around my family full time! I knew to accomplish this I needed to add something from me to our growing company, with a ton of prayer and refection I knew woodworking was what I wanted to do. Having grown up around woodworking, I believe that planted the bug, or all the wood dust I inhaled lol.
Being able to handcraft something for somebody to have in their home, something that could make their home more their own, that part is just awesome. I love seeing how our customer’s use our geometric shelves; this just throws my motivation into overdrive. Over the last two years we have been slowing growing our shop, adding tools and storage here and there to make us more efficient which is why we love Wall Control! On any given afternoon you can find me in the garage making some noise and scattering some dust.
I hope one day soon to be able to call myself a full time woodworker. I know I can accomplish this by providing each customer with a quality product with the best service. The best part of what I do is that you can build anything! When you have no boundaries, and you live outside the box, I just totally dig that! Enjoy each day, love what you do, and stay classy!
